Job Posting Casual Library Clerks Competition #4138 Chinook School Division is seeking applications for casual Library Clerks for the following schools: CUPE ($19.83/hour): Hodgeville, Fox Valley Non-Union ($20.27/hour): Cabri, Central, Consul, Eastend, Fairview, Gull Lake, Ponteix, Waldeck, Wymark SEIU ($20.16/hour): Shaunavon High, Val Marie The Chinook School Division is proud to serve nearly 6,000 students in 60 schools, with over 1,000 collegial and student-centered teachers and support staff. General Description A team member responsible to the principal for the cataloguing and classification of resource centre materials, for assisting in the provision of patron services to staff and students, and for assisting in the organization and maintenance of the resource centre. Duties And Responsibilities Promote the vision, mission, principles and goals of the Chinook School Division Assist teachers and/or students in the location and use of Resource Centre materials Assist in the supervision of students in the Resource Centre Maintain computer-based circulation and cataloguing protocols Qualifications Ability and experience in working with children Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment A positive and flexible attitude to change Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion Benefits Participation in the Municipal Employees' Pension Plan Positive work environment Casual employees are contacted to work on an “as-needed” basis.
