Start Date: ASAP Qualifications Continuing Care Assistant, Health Care Aide, or Personal Support Worker certification or equivalent PART training required, level 4 or equivalent First Aid and CPR certification Ability to work with students who have extreme behaviours and various physical needs Ability and experience in working with children Physical ability to work with active students Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment A positive and flexible attitude to change Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion Duties may include but are not limited to the following: Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required Work one on one with students and within a classroom setting Based on needs of individual students, provide individual students with assistance in speech, motor, and language development and social and life skills Work as part of a team in development and implementation of Individual Improvement Plan Benefits Defined Benefit Pension Plan Employee benefit package Positive work environment Pay range: $21.52 to $28.16 per hour Applications must apply before October 7th at 4:30pm. Requirements

Requires Continuing Care Assistant, Health Care Aide, or Personal Support Worker certification, or equivalent PART training at Level 4 or equivalent, along with First Aid and CPR certification. Candidates need experience and ability to work with children with significant behavioral and physical needs, strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, physical ability to support active students, and a flexible, inclusive approach.
