Job Posting PAA Teacher (1.0 FTE Temporary) Swift Current Comprehensive High School Competition #4148 The Chinook School Division requires a full time (1.0 FTE) temporary PAA teacher at Swift Current Comprehensive High School beginning October 19, 2026. SCCHS is a Grade 9-12 school with 995 students and 53 teachers. The Chinook School Division is proud to serve over 6,000 students in 60 schools, with over 1,000 collegial and student-centered teachers and support staff. Start Date: October 19, 2026 End Date: January 29, 2027 Qualifications Experience in any or all of the following areas is an asset: autobody, construction, machining or welding. Effective interpersonal and communication skills; Proven ability to work collaboratively and an ability to work in a team environment; A teaching philosophy that reflects a constructivist and cooperative learning approach; Ability to work effectively within an environment which includes developing meaningful and productive relationships with students, parents, PLC's, professionals and community service agencies; Demonstrated ability to connect with youth in a student-centered learning environment in addition to having an interest or willingness to connect with students outside of the classroom; Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion Successful teaching experience or training; Certified as a Teacher in good standing in Saskatchewan or the ability to be certified.
