Qualifications Minimum of Grade 12 diploma from a recognized educational institution or General Education Development (GED) is preferred; Fireman’s Certificate, First Aid/CPR, WHMIS or willingness to obtain; Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning processes, products and equipment; Demonstrated knowledge of basic building maintenance procedures, tools and equipment; Strong communication skills; Ability to work as part of a team; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; Ability to deal with a broad range of students, staff and members of the general public; Ability to work in varied climates and conditions which may include: confined spaces, dust, vapours, fumes or slippery surfaces; Good physical condition; Ability to exert up to 100 lbs of force occasionally; Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force frequently; Ability to exert up to 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
