Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Annual Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 Work Location: Onsite (Milton, ON) What You'll Be Doing: Capacity Planning Analyze upcoming production requirements and plant capacity data to determine optimal execution plans. Collaborate with Production and Engineering to understand and drive various production scenarios based on increasing future plant capacity via different work processes or equipment constraints. Production Planning Analyze demand to develop both short- and long-term production plans factoring in plant capacity and production specifications while focusing on key KPI’s including but not limited to Uptime, Waste, Efficiency and Case Fill Rate. Monitor production status to ensure requirements are met; and identify and address issues to aim for minimal disruption and optimized performance. Oversee Production Planning Process, including work order accuracy and reconciliation process. Teamwork Coordinate with Sales to identify potential capacity constraints on new launches. Gain alignment on upcoming weekly plan to ensure optimal production performance over shifts/days. Be a technical resource for cross functional teams on plant capabilities and inventory optimization to minimize waste. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Customer Service to ensure up to date information is provided to allow for short- and long-term production execution. Leadership Coordinate, direct and evaluate staff for the department including performance management, development and corrective actions as required. This also includes assigning, planning, hiring, training, rewarding, and disciplining as required. Empower, coach, support, develop and train team members as required. Other duties, as assigned What We're Looking For: Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in a relevant field (preferably in Supply Chain Management) 3-5 years of related experience (preferably as a Production Scheduler in a manufacturing environment) Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to meet deadlines. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. Bonus Points If You Have: Dessert Manufacturing Facility or Bakery experience. Familiarity with Lean tools and methods (e.g., value stream mapping, visual management, root cause problem-solving). Strong BRC (or similar GFSI) knowledge or experience. Strong knowledge of WHMIS, Chemical Handling, HACCP, GMP, OHSA and regulatory requirements.
