Job Type: Fixed Term, Full-time Contract Duration: 6-months Work Location: Onsite (Milton, ON) Hours: 9:00pm - 5:30am (flexibility as needed), Monday - Friday, Weekends as needed Hourly Rate: $25.87 What You'll Be Doing: Inspect pallets to ensure accuracy, along with no damages. Timely and accurate loading and unloading of trailers, according to MOL, GMP, HACCP, CTPAT or any other standards that create a safe environment for the worker, the food, and or the drivers. Where preparation is necessary it should be organized and communicated in a way to ensure safe and proper transfer of goods. Flawless execution of the WMS. System issues will be communicated immediately to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. Equipment for the collection of the data will be monitored and managed in a way to minimize damage or malfunctions. Maintain all necessary skills and training to provide safe and efficient service. Expected to re-familiarize through training and or recertification, this includes the safe operation of equipment to complete assigned tasks and its basic safety inspections. Assists other department requests when necessary. Complete inventory checks and counts as assigned Maintain a clean and safe work area. Other tasks as assigned by the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor including the coverage of other forklift operators. What We're Looking For: High school graduate or, minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Maintain valid certifications as determined by provincial or federal regulations for all lift vehicles. Valid Forklift/Counterbalance Certificate. Bonus Points If You Have: Dessert Manufacturing or Bakery experience. Comfortable using WMS, handheld scanners, and basic WMS. Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and continuous improvement.
