Welcome to CIMA+ Job Description We are seeking for a Senior Billing Technician to join our dynamic finance team. Reporting to our Team leader, Project Accountant, operations, you will support the Project Accountants in carrying out all project accounting activities, participate in the invoicing process and produce annexes on request. We offer a flexible hybrid work model, enabling you to work from home and from our Edmonton or Vancouver office (2 days a week). Primary responsibilities Support for complex invoicing and high priority clients. Build and maintain effective working relationships with project managers, project coordinators and clients regarding billing queries. Review billing terms and conditions regarding various contracts to ensure accurate billing. Ensure timely preparation of invoices and issue approved invoices and credit notes within agreed timelines. Support the Project Accountant and work closely with other accounting support services. Complete various clerical tasks. Maintain billing folders for all projects including all supporting documents. Qualifications College certificate or diploma in accounting. 3+ years’ experience or university degree (an asset). Experience in a professional services organization is preferred. Strong critical thinking, analytical and proactive problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple project priorities simultaneously, while respecting tight deadlines and working under pressure. Demonstrate autonomy, flexibility and agility with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
