Job summary

City Furniture is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate to join our team in Prince Rupert, BC. In this role, you'll help keep our warehouse organized while ensuring furniture and appliances are delivered safely and professionally to our customers. This is a great opportunity for someone with delivery, warehouse, moving, logistics, or material handling experience who is looking for stable, full-time work. Pay & Benefits $19.00 - $20.00 per hour. Overtime pay. Customer tips. Health benefits. Full-time, permanent position. Monday to Friday schedule. Schedule Monday to Friday. 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. What You'll Do Delivery Responsibilities: Load, secure, transport, and deliver furniture and appliances to customers. Verify orders before departure and upon delivery. Assist with placement of products at customer locations. Complete delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures. Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns. Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries. Follow delivery schedules and assigned routes. Warehouse Responsibilities Load and unload incoming shipments. Prepare merchandise for customer pickup and delivery. Assist with inventory counts and product tracking. Restock showroom inventory as needed. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if applicable). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Support daily warehouse operations and team objectives. Qualifications Required: Valid Class 5 Driver's License (non-GDL). Clean driving record. Ability to safely lift and move heavy furniture and appliances. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic English communication skills. Preferred Experience in furniture delivery. Experience in moving, warehousing, logistics, shipping and receiving, or material handling. Experience operating a 1-ton truck. Requirements

Candidates must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License and a clean driving record, along with the ability to lift heavy items. Experience in delivery, warehousing, or logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
