The City of Iqaluit is looking for a Building Coordinator to join our team! Title: Building Coordinator Department: Municipal Enforcement Status: Full-time permanent Rate of Pay: $36.88/per hour, 35 hours a week Settlement Allowance: $20,907.43 per annum Union Status: Unionized The Building Coordinator will manage operational activities within the Iqaluit Operations Center (IOC) ensuring smooth communication, coordination, and functionality of the facility. They will act as the primary reception point, managing inquiries and directing visitors appropriately as well as processing payments for the Municipal Enforcement, Planning and Engineering departments when required. Required Education and Experience Minimum Level of Education/Training: Minimum of a high school diploma; Minimum Level of Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in office management or facility coordination. Additional Requirements : Security: A Criminal Record Check is Required for this position Indigenous Language: Preferred As per Article 23 of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement, priority will be given to Nunavut Land Claim Beneficiaries who meet the criteria. Equivalencies that include a combination of education and experience may be considered All relevant certifications are required at time of application. Titre : Poste de coordonnateur des installations Service municipal : Service municipal de l’ordre public Statut d’emploi : Temps plein, permanent Rémunération : 36.88 $ par heure, 35 heures/semaine Indemnité d’établissement : 20 907,43 $ par année Statut syndical : Syndiqué La personne au poste de coordonnateur des installations gérera les activités opérationnelles au sein du Centre des opérations d’Iqaluit assurant une communication, une coordination et une fonctionnalité harmonieuses des installations. La personne agira comme principal point d’accueil, entre autres en traitant les demandes de renseignements et en orientant les visiteurs de façon appropriée, tout en procédant aux paiements pour les services de l’application des règlements municipaux, de l’urbanisme et de l’ingénierie, au besoin. Formation et expérience requises Niveau minimum d’études/de formation : Minimum d’un diplôme d’études secondaires; Niveau minimum d’expérience : Au moins 3 ans d’expérience pertinente en gestion de bureau ou en coordination d’installations.
