The Paid-Per-Call Firefighter responds to emergency incidents including fires, rescues, and hazardous situations while working as part of a crew. They are also responsible for operating firefighting equipment, participating in training, and assisting with fire prevention and public education programs. Candidates must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma and a valid Ontario Class G driver's license, with a willingness to obtain a DZ license. Applicants must also be able to meet physical demands and remain calm in emergency situations.
