The Licensed Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of a diverse municipal fleet including buses, dump trucks, and snow clearing equipment. Duties include maintaining service records, performing safety checks, and providing emergency field assistance in all weather conditions. Candidates must possess a Grade 12 diploma and a valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician certificate, along with a Class G Driver's License. At least three years of progressive experience with diesel engines and knowledge of CVOR regulations are required.
