Performs cashier functions occasionally. Duties & Responsibilities: Sets up food for special functions, meetings, salad bar and cafeteria buffet. Serves cafeteria buffet. Provides table service for sit down meal functions. Prepares coffee and tea for special functions and cafeteria buffet. Delivers food, beverages, napkins, plates and other supplies to special functions and meetings. Picks up dishes after special functions. Fills, operates and unloads dish machine. Washes pots and other dishes. Acts as cashier on a relief basis. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Successful completion of Grade 12 in the Province of Ontario or equivalent. Ability to speak, write and understand English. Completion of or enrolled in an accredited Food Service Workers Certificate. Experience in the hospitality or restaurant setting preferred. Physically capable of performing all duties as required, including heavy lifting. Compensation & Other Information: Start: $26.66 per hour. 2080 Hrs/1 Year Rate: $27.77 per hour. This posting is for (1) temporary part-time position for up to 1 year. This posting is arranged to be fully in-person and is located at the Top of the Hall Cafe in City Hall, London, ON. Police Record Check The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Criminal Record Check (CRC).

The role involves performing general food service delivery, cafeteria buffet setup, and cleanup functions. Additionally, the employee will provide table service, prepare beverages, and occasionally act as a cashier.

Candidates must have completed Grade 12 or equivalent and possess the ability to speak, write, and understand English. Completion of or enrollment in an accredited Food Service Workers Certificate is required, and experience in hospitality is preferred.
