The caretaker performs heavy-duty cleaning, janitorial duties, and general building maintenance across various city facilities. They are also responsible for monitoring mechanical systems, performing minor repairs, and ensuring grounds are maintained. Candidates must have at least a Grade 10 education or GED equivalent and possess a Fireman’s Certificate. A valid Class 5 driver’s license and the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and climbing are also required.
