CLA is currently seeking a Manager/Director – Transaction Tax to join our Transaction Tax practice. How you’ll create opportunities in this Manager/Director – Transaction Tax role: Manage and develop relationships with new business development, existing clients and mentoring team members. Develop client relationships by delivering a full range of tax due diligence, structuring, modeling and other special project engagements related to acquisitions and dispositions by private equity investor groups, family offices and strategic buyers. Work with CLA specialty tax groups as needed (SALT, International Tax, and Federal Tax Solutions). Perform tax due diligence projects through a review of tax returns, legal documents, and financial statements, and write and review tax due diligence reports. Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that offers a ton of flexibility, autonomy, and the encouragement to make things happen. Lead the engagement progress by monitoring time, budgets and deadlines for adherence. Communicate important developments to the engagement principal along with facts, conclusions, and recommendations. What you will need: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Minimum 5 years of experience performing federal, state, and/or international tax compliance, planning, and consulting services CPA license certification required. A JD degree or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification may be accepted in lieu of a CPA license Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance, planning, or consulting. A CPA license is required, though a JD or Enrolled Agent certification may be accepted as an alternative.
