Position Description: Clark Builders is hiring a Night Shift Foreman for a large project that will initially be based out of our main office in Edmonton, Alberta, with the role later shifting to a project site located near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. The Foreman will be responsible for supervising trade employees assigned to a particular construction discipline or work area. Reporting to: Superintendent Duties and Responsibilities: * Assist in planning work schedule(s) and determining and maintaining workforce requirements, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc. * Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Clark Builders safety policies and procedures * Identify hazards and correct any unsafe conditions * Lead QA/QC checks and inspections * Lead site specific orientations and tailgate meetings * Draft and submit RFI’s * Assume control of the site if the Superintendent is off site * Other duties as required * Represent Clark Builders in a professional and respectful manner * Adhere to Clark Builders policies and procedures Skills and Knowledge: * The ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints and communicate this information to others * Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential. * Conflict resolution * The capability to work outside in extreme weather conditions depending on the season Qualifications: * Journeyperson trade certification * 8+ years of construction experience * Valid first aid certificate an asset * Valid Fall Protection, CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 is an asset What's in it for you? * Competitive wages and vacation pay. * LOA for eligible candidates. * Opportunity to work overtime hours. * Employer Matching RRSP program. * Employee and Family Assistance (EFAP) program. * Comprehensive health and benefits plan. * Boot Allowance. * Paid birthday off. * Partner Perks. * Employee referral program – earn a cash bonus if the candidate you refer passes their 90-day probation. Requirements
Requires a Journeyperson trade certification and at least 8 years of construction experience. Valid first aid, Fall Protection, CSTS 2020, and WHMIS 2015 certifications are considered assets.
