Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is looking for Class 3 Operators to join their safety conscious team at Suncor Firebag! You will be responsible for operating and driving the assigned unit and for performing a variety of jobs as dictated by the client. RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times. * Drives, operates and stages units. * Performs pre and post trip inspections. * Assist with job site preparation, staging equipment. * Maintains and updates driver’s logbook. * Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day; * Performs roadside repairs as required. QUALIFICATIONS * Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License required with 18 speed manual transmission experience. * Experience with combo and vac truck units. * High Pressure experience would be an asset * Minimum of one (1) year previous Oilsands or industrial experience. * Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day and site arrival). Training can be arranged. * Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment. * Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions. 40-years of sustainability in action.
