Clean Harbors is looking for an Experienced Oilsands Labourer to join their safety conscious team in Fort McMurray, AB at Firebag! This is a 362 Teamsters Union position. Full rate at $35.81/hour. RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times; * Responsible for safely and efficiently operating units (vac truck, water truck, steam truck, yellow iron, pressure truck and other units) * Ensures cleanliness of equipment; * Perform basic labor tasks using hand tools, but also operate power equipment (non-driver); * Completes all required paperwork; * Assisting operators with all job duties such as Pre/Post Trip inspections; * Performing field level risk assessments; * Attends daily safety meetings; * Working as a part of a team with customers, coworkers & supervisors; * Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management. QUALIFICATIONS * Class 5 non-GDL Driver’s License with a clean drivers abstract required; * Minimum of 1-year oilfield or labor-intensive experience; * Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day; * Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights; * Working under minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment. * Capable of working outside in various weather conditions. 40-years of sustainability in action.
