Job summary
Role Overview The Site Hand will be responsible for keeping project sites clean, safe, and stocked. This role involves traveling between multiple sites on a day-to-day basis, assisting with garbage removal, material handling, and general site upkeep. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and physically capable of handling labor-intensive tasks. Key Responsibilities Daily cleaning of project sites (sweeping, mopping, dust control). Collecting, bagging, and removing garbage and construction debris. Transporting garbage/materials to disposal sites (vehicle preferred: truck/van). Moving tools, trades’ materials, and equipment as required. Restocking safety equipment and supplies as needed. Ensuring safety signage, barriers, and equipment are properly in place. Assisting Site Supervisors and trades with site maintenance tasks. Monitoring and maintaining a tidy loading dock and path of travel. Performing other general labor tasks to support project delivery. Requirements Previous construction or general labor experience preferred. Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy materials. Comfortable working in dusty, active construction environments. Valid driver’s license and access to a truck or van (strong asset). Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and safety-first mindset. Rate: $25-30/Hour
