Job summary

Duties and responsibilities * Greet patients in a friendly, helpful and professional manner. * Go above and beyond the call of duty to provide the highest level of customer service to our patients and referring physicians. * Patient uptake. This includes organizing and processing requisitions, patient screening forms and inputting patient and procedure information into the RIS software. * Register/check in patients. * Schedule/book appointments. * Manage a multi-line phone system. * Pull and retrieve patient records. * Communicate with health care providers or patients if necessary to clarify information and/or uncover missing information. * Other duties as required by the Regional Manager. Qualifications * Preference will be given to candidates with a flexible schedule, including willingness to work at other locations in the geographical area. * Positive attitude. * Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service. * Flexibility and openness to the changing needs of the business. * Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. * Understanding of basic office technologies (fax machines, multi-line phone system/computers/printers, etc.) * The ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic computer or office equipment-related issues. * Ability to maintain a professional demeanour and work well under pressure. * Experience in medical administration/diagnostic Imaging would be considered an asset. * Diploma or degree in Medical Office Administration (an asset) * Proficient in using Microsoft Office products, e-mail and the internet. * Excellent employment references.
