JOB SUMMARY The Yard Support / Delivery Driver is responsible for supporting daily yard and warehouse operations while ensuring the safe and timely delivery and pick-up of materials, tools, and equipment. This role works closely with field staff to coordinate logistics, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure the yard remains organized, clean, and secure. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and capable of operating delivery vehicles and material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment Location: Clearway's Yard – 69 Freshway Dr, Concord, ON L4K 1N3 (Required to drive to multiple job locations) Hour of Operation: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Compensation range: $ 25-30 per hour (Based on skill and experience) ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate with field staff to facilitate timely pick-up and delivery of materials, tools, equipment, and supplies Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and retrieve materials from job sites, vendors, and other locations Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment onto trucks and trailers, ensuring proper handling and secure transport Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy against packing slips and documentation, and report discrepancies Organize and store materials in designated areas (racks, shelves, bins) Pull, prepare, and distribute materials, tools, and stock items to fulfill internal requests and work orders Assist in tracking, maintaining, and managing company equipment and inventory Maintain accurate inventory records using a computerized inventory management system Operate yard equipment such as forklifts and loaders in compliance with all Health & Safety regulations Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the yard and warehouse areas Ensure yard and warehouse security procedures are followed at all times Provide weekly updates on material usage, inventory levels, and requisitions Support general yard operations and perform other duties as assigned Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment up to 50 lbs on a regular basis (and heavier items with assistance or equipment) Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching throughout the workday Ability to safely load and unload materials from trucks and trailers Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.) Ability to operate vehicles, forklifts, and other yard equipment for extended periods Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling tools and materials Ability to climb in and out of trucks and operate equipment safely Capable of performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: Minimum Education: High School Graduation Diploma 1-2 years of experience as delivery driver preferred Experience with Excel, inventory management software experience preferred Valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, snow, rain, etc. Ability to lift 50-75 pounds Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, etc. Detail oriented and comfortable with technology BENEFITS: Competitive Salary with annual cost of living increases Group RRSP with 100% Matching 100% Company Paid Benefits Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Life Insurance Wellness Programs Free On-site Parking Please, no agencies
