Location: Windsor, ON Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Cost Estimator in our Windsor, Ontario Stamping Facilities. The Cost Estimator is responsible for the collection and analysis of data in order to estimate the factors required to manufacture our product (Cold/Hot Stampings, assembly, and miscellaneous secondary costs). This role serves as the primary customer contact and coordinates cross-functional teams including engineering, tooling, production, quality, purchasing, logistics, and finance to ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities: Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses Travel to jobsites to gather information on materials needed, labor required, and other Read customer GDT and technical documents in order to prepare estimates Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to develop and validate estimates. Consult with industry experts to discuss estimates and resolve issues Use computer software to calculate estimates (Mainly Siemens NX, and excel) Evaluate a product’s cost-effectiveness or profitability Recommend ways to make a product more cost effective or profitable Work with sales teams to prepare estimates and bids for clients Develop project plans for the duration of the project Minimum Qualifications: College or University Degree in technical discipline, At least 5 years in automotive and or stamping environment Able to travel to US Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors in Business or Engineering preferred The salary range for this role is $65,000 – $90,000. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location and business or organizational needs. Requirements

Candidates must hold a college or university degree in a technical discipline and possess at least 5 years of experience in an automotive or stamping environment. The role requires the ability to travel to the US and proficiency in software such as Siemens NX and Excel.
