Position Type: Permanent Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) Anticipated Start Date: Fall 2026 Anticipated Gym Launch: Winter 2026/2027 About Us: We are a new bouldering gym currently under construction in Langley, BC near the Willowbrook Mall. Your Role We are seeking a Gym Manager to join us. During the pre-opening phase, you will work closely with ownership to hire the foundational team, set up basic operational systems, and drive pre-sales. Once open, you will transition into full facility management – overseeing day-to-day operations, staff performance, customer experience, routesetting team, and facility standards. This role requires strong leadership, operational awareness, and a commitment to growing and nurturing our community of climbers. The Gym Manager reports directly to the owners. All other gym staff, including the Head Setter, report to the Gym Manager. Qualifications 2+ years of management experience in a fitness, recreation, or climbing facility. Experience managing, hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and supervising staff. Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills and an ability to create a positive, welcoming environment. A deep passion for bouldering and the indoor climbing industry. Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain before start date). Requirements

Candidates need at least 2 years of management experience in fitness, recreation, or climbing facilities. A passion for bouldering and a current CPR/First Aid certification are also required.
