We are looking for SQL Database Administrator for one of our leading clients. Job Title: SQL Database Administrator Job Type: Full Time/ Contract Job Location: Montreal (Hybrid – 3 days Onsite, 2 days Remote) Responsibilities: Manage SQL Server databases Perform Core SQL DBA tasks. Configure and maintain database servers and processes Handle Database upgrades and migrations. Capacity planning for databases. Working in Operations and handling Database alerts. Install, patch SQL 2016 through 2019. Performance tuning of Queries/applications Monitor system's health and performance Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time Provide suggestions for solutions Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours Requirements and Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
