Job Description The Procurement Technician is responsible for supporting the Procurement and Sales Department in various tasks. Role and responsibilities Follow up on open orders and maintain relevant purchasing data in LN ERP. Working with excel for push-pulls for customer request and processing in LN Create, process purchase orders related to cost & production. Support cost related purchase order request. Manage and procure office supplies. Generate cost savings by negotiating with suppliers or redirecting purchases to preferred suppliers for requisitions. Prepare RFQ’s, offer analysis, negotiate prices and commercial conditions with suppliers with all documentation needed according to CMP’s purchasing policy. Review open order reports with suppliers on a frequent bases, stocking levels, to ensure timelessness of deliveries with proper follow up. Other duties as requested by Supply Chain Manager. Entering ASNs (advanced shipping notice) in supplier for Amazon. Scanning all shipping documents and sending out to each customer. Rapid prototype order entry and releasing for shipment. Printing out, confirming, and updating POs in supplier for Amazon. All other related tasks are considered part of the role and may be assigned as needed. Knowledge and Skill Requirements General knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point. Analyze and solve problems (Gathers relevant information systematically). Excellent verbal and written skills, teamwork and interpersonal skills, to include the ability to develop high quality working relationships both internally and externally with both suppliers and customers. Master the French and English language (suppliers and clients in the US) All other related tasks are considered part of the role and may be assigned as needed Key Performance Indicators: Willingness to learn. Excellent communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Detail orientation to achieve a high degree of accuracy of technical information. Problem solver. What you’ll do
The Procurement Technician supports the Procurement and Sales departments by managing purchase orders and maintaining purchasing data in the LN ERP system. Key duties include negotiating with suppliers, preparing RFQs, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and office supplies.
Requirements
Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office and bilingual in English and French to communicate with North American suppliers and clients. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset are essential for this role.
