To serve the changing global needs of our clients, our innovative Edmonton, Alberta facility is equipped with some of the most technically advanced CNC machinery available today. We are currently seeking an experience Machinist for afternoon-shift to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong machining background, competent working on complex components while observing API Quality Management Standards. Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate the company’s Core Values Responsible for ensuring the Health & Safety of themselves and others Report any safety injuries or incidents that occur immediately and assist in investigations as required Machine components using CNC equipment as per document requirements Set-up and operate machines performing first article manufacturing when required Record measurements and fill out inspection log sheets as required Document and report any deficiencies as per Quality Management Standards Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines as required Liaise with Team Lead to resolve any machining or assembly issues that may arise Maintain a clean and organized work area Ability to run more than one machine when requested Other duties as assigned Required Skills: Journeypersons Certificate is an asset, however, prior experience as a Machinist is considered Must be able read and interpret manufacturing drawings Understanding of machine programming and control operations (Mazak, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens) is an asset API threading experience is an asset Additional requirement Ability to work and collaborate with all levels Excellent coordination and mechanical skills Strong attention to detail Must be open to continuous learning and improvement Physical requirements Able to lift to 50lbs Standing for long periods of time Shift: Afternoon, 2:30-11:00 PM Location: Nisku, AB Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Dental care Vision care Disability insurance Employee assistance program Extended health care Life insurance Paid time off RRSP match Vision care Work Location: In person CNC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity.
