Reporting to the Team Lead, Commercial Mortgages Administration, you will be part of a team that is responsible to ensure accurate servicing and accounting of mortgage loans. You will champion continuous improvements and challenge processes to ensure business efficiencies and quality client service Your responsibilities Ensure accurate loan set up and ongoing loan maintenance based on thorough analysis and understanding of mortgage commitments and contracts; You manage daily transactions including mortgage disbursements, collections and valuation of mortgage loans; You review, maintain and enhance department processes on a regular basis; Promote operational effectiveness by identifying opportunities and proposing innovative solutions for the continuous improvement of processes and procedures. Work efficiently with key internal and external stakeholders (Servicing Agents, Municipal Tax Authorities, Insurance Agents, Solicitors and Borrowers); You participate in the upgrade of software, analyze operational impacts, system enhancements and plan and co-ordinate user acceptance testing. What you bring A post-secondary education in Business or an equivalent combination of education and work experience; Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience; Understanding of the life cycle of a mortgage and end to end servicing operations; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge in Excel; Real Estate paralegal experience would be an asset. What sets you apart Strong analytical and organizational skills; Experience with Power BI would be an asset; A positive client, team and solution orientated attitude; A high level of attention to detail; Ability to multitask and prioritize; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Fluency in French would be considered an asset.
