Role And Responsibilities The position involves loading and unloading freight, digitizing, and sorting cargo within the facility. The successful candidate will perform basic tasks related to freight handling, ensuring accurate digitization and organization of packages. They must be capable of operating in a fast-paced environment, adhering to safety and regulatory standards, and completing all required training and certifications. Additional duties may include operating equipment to handle packages weighing up to 150 lb and lifting up to 70 lb as needed. Qualifications And Skills Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED (preferred), with knowledge of Canadian customs regulations and FedEx operations (desired). Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and proficiency in Windows-based environments are essential. Bilingual ability (French and English) is required for residents of Quebec. Valid driver's license with minimal infractions and/or accidents within the past 24 months is necessary for roles involving driving. Successful candidates will undergo assessments including interviews, driving tests, and background checks. Additional Information This is a temporary role with up to 12 weeks duration, requiring availability Monday to Saturday mornings. The hourly wage is $21.50.
