Cockroach Labs is the company behind CockroachDB, the distributed SQL database built to survive anything and scale without limits, and Cockroach Continuum, the Agentic Database Cloud built on it. Founded in 2015, Cockroach Labs set out to solve a problem the industry had accepted as unsolvable: transactional correctness and always-on resilience at the same time, across regions and clouds. Today CockroachDB runs the systems companies cannot afford to have fail, from payments and banking to identity, gaming, and AI infrastructure, at organizations including Nvidia, OpenAI, DoorDash, Bose, Cisco, Coreweave, and Hard Rock Digital. With Continuum, that foundation now runs entire database estates as one system, built for the era when software is written, run, and used by machines. Cockroach Labs is headquartered in New York City with teams worldwide
