*Cold Garden Beverage Company | Calgary, AB* *Full-time split between:* *AGM: $25/hour + tips & Shift Lead: $20/hour + tips* This is a *36?44 hour/week position*, split between approximately *20 hours of AGM/administrative responsibilities and 16?24 hours working on the taproom floor.* *Who We Are* Cold Garden is a colourful, groovy, dog-friendly brewery in the heart of Inglewood. We?re all about great beer, good people, weird ideas, community, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome. We?re looking for a rad *Assistant Manager ? Operations* to join our team and help keep the taproom running swimmingly. *What You?ll Do* You?ll work closely with our Taproom Manager and Assistant Manager - Employee Dynamics to keep things organized, efficient, and running smoothly. Your AGM responsibilities will include: * Managing reservations and our general taproom inbox * Supporting event planning, logistics, and setup * Ordering and tracking inventory supplies and coordinating vendor deliveries * Supporting POS operation * Helping maintain our taproom and patio spaces * Maintaining OH&S, first aid, WHMIS programs * Helping with hiring, interviews, onboarding, and training * Providing ongoing feedback and participating in performance reviews * Completing incident reporting, follow-ups, and filing * Sharing Manager on-call responsibilities twice a week * Jumping in wherever needed When you?re working on the floor, you?ll be serving guests, slinging pints, managing the team, and helping create the Cold Garden experience our regulars love. Some days will be spreadsheets and emails. Other days will be slinging pints, solving problems, and wondering where all the glassware went. *Who You Are* You think creatively, aren?t afraid to try something new, and can adapt quickly when plans change. When things hit the fan, you stay calm, find a solution, and get it done. Qualifications: * *ProServe* (required) * *Protect* (required) * *Standard First Aid *(welcomed, but not necessary) * At least *2 years of experience* in food and beverage operations or a related field is preferred, though motivated candidates with less experience will be considered. * At least *1 year of experience* in an administrative role, including managing and monitoring a professional work email, composing responses, scheduling, and overseeing inventory management. *Skills:* * Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, professional setting. * Creativity and flexible thinking. Someone who loves thinking outside the box and gets excited about ideas that aren?t traditional, but work for us! * You?re a self-starter with experience managing projects from beginning to end with minimal supervision.
