QA Automation Engineer

Client: Global Banking Type (Contract, C2H): Contract - 1 year Location: Toronto, ON Shift/Core Hours: 37.5 hours/ Week Pay Rate: $72-80/hr What is the scope of the project? Test payment applications to ensure software meets business, functional, and compliance requirements. Increase test automation using Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured for UI and API testing. Execute manual and automated testing, including smoke, integration, regression, and system testing. Use Jenkins, GitHub, and BitBucket to support CI/CD pipelines and software releases. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software. What are they going to accomplish on a high level? Hands-on manual and automation testing End-to-end test execution Day-to-day, what are the responsibilities? Functional / automation testing Hands-on testing phases Database queries / Database validation Running agile ceremonies, daily stand-up calls Completing testing work, manual test cases for a functionality or project Data setup Test execution Capturing all evidence as per requirements - good documentation skills Automation activities using Selenium and Java.
