Are you an experienced insurance broker who enjoys working with clients, managing a diverse book of business, and being part of a collaborative team? We’re looking for a RIBO-licensed Insurance Broker with experience in both Commercial and Personal Lines to join our team. This role is primarily focused on providing excellent service to an established book of business, with the opportunity to earn additional commission by bringing new business to the brokerage. You’ll have the independence to manage your accounts while working alongside a team that values communication, client relationships, and getting the job done right. What You'll Be Doing As a Broker on our team, you’ll take ownership of the client experience throughout the insurance lifecycle. Your day-to-day work will include: Looking after an established book of Commercial and Personal Lines business Handling accounts from the initial quote through policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, remarketing, and cancellations Responding promptly to questions and requests from clients, insurance carriers, and colleagues Reviewing client and risk information to identify exposures, confirm accuracy, and ensure appropriate coverage is in place Providing clients with knowledgeable insurance guidance and recommendations Communicating with insurance companies on behalf of clients and helping resolve coverage or service issues Reviewing accounts for opportunities to enhance coverage and identify additional insurance needs Generating new business opportunities, with commission available for successful new business sales Reporting new claims to the appropriate insurance carrier and assisting clients with the next steps Staying on top of outstanding account items and following through until issues are resolved Building strong relationships with clients, markets, and colleagues Contributing to a team environment where providing a positive client experience is everyone's responsibility What We're Looking For You’ll be a strong fit if you’re an experienced broker who is comfortable managing client relationships and balancing service responsibilities with business development. Required: Active RIBO license At least 2 years of experience working as a Commercial and Personal Lines Broker Demonstrated experience managing and servicing an insurance book of business Strong client service and communication skills Good understanding of Commercial and Personal Lines insurance products Ability to prioritize work, manage deadlines, and stay organized Strong attention to detail and follow-through A willingness to learn and keep up with changes in the insurance marketplace Nice to have: Experience with Applied EPIC Established relationships with insurance markets Experience identifying and converting new business opportunities Compensation & Total Rewards We believe employees should understand how their compensation is determined and have a clear path for growth. Placement within the range will depend on your qualifications and the level of directly relevant experience you bring to the role.
