High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate. Home Support/Resident Care Aide certificate, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. CPR Certification is required First Aid Certification is required Access to reliable transportation. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required; additional languages are a plus At least 1 year of prior caregiving experience Eligibility to legally work in Canada is necessary for this position A valid driver’s license is a plus Covid Vaccination Proof is required Current TB screening and a Criminal Record Check are required What you will be doing: Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes. Provide assistance with personal care. Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises. Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding. Properly manage household needs. Provide companionship and respite services for the family. Salary Range: 19-21

Requirements

Applicants need a high school diploma or GED and a Home Support/Resident Care Aide certificate or equivalent education, training, and experience, along with at least one year of caregiving experience. CPR and First Aid certifications, reliable transportation, English proficiency, legal eligibility to work in Canada, proof of COVID vaccination, current TB screening, and a criminal record check are required; a valid driver's license is a plus.
