Position Summary The housekeeper provides companionship, emotional support, and light household assistance to clients while following each client’s individualized Plan of Care. This role plays an important part in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. Key Responsibilities -Provide attentive, non-medical care based on each client’s Plan of Care -Offer companionship through conversation, reading, activities, and social engagement -Support clients’ emotional well-being and mental alertness -Assist with light housekeeping duties including: Vacuuming Dusting Laundry Dishwashing Bathroom and kitchen cleaning -Complete documentation and care notes accurately and on time -Follow all safety procedures and maintain client confidentiality Qualifications & Requirements -High school diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement) -Current CPR & First Aid Certification -Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check -Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are considered strong assets -Ability to work independently with minimal supervision  -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Dependable, punctual, and organized -Compassionate, patient, and committed to quality client care -Ability to follow written and verbal instructions carefully - Professional attitude with honesty and integrity Physical & Working Conditions -Regular physical activity including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and light lifting (up to 12 kg / 25 lbs) ---- -Manual dexterity and strength in both hands required - Possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases -Work performed within clients’ homes in the community Why Join Comfort Keepers? -Wages starting at $20.00/hr - Meaningful and rewarding work -Supportive and welcoming team environment -Ongoing training and learning opportunities -Flexible scheduling opportunities -The chance to build lasting relationships and truly make a difference in someone’s life Apply Today! Candidates should be dependable, organized, compassionate, able to communicate and follow instructions, and capable of working independently; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are strong assets.
