Position Summary Position Title: Class 1 Truck Driver Location (Start Point): Calgary, AB Delivery Area: Canada–U.S Run Employment Type: Full-Time Shift Schedule: 4-5 days a week Sunday to Thursday/Friday (Could vary depending on coverage required weekends). Responsibilities: Safely operate vehicles to transport freight across Canada–U.S. routes Complete deliveries and pickups to customer locations in a safe, timely, and professional manner Operate tractor-trailer equipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and cargo securement; promptly report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs. Accurately complete all required documentation, including e-logs, inspection reports, delivery paperwork, and incident reports Maintain compliance with hours-of-service regulations, safety policies, and company procedures Maintain flexibility to meet operational and customer demands, including variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as required Core Requirements Valid Class 1 driver's license Clean 5 years Commercial driving abstract (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events) Valid Fast card or TWIC card Mountain driving experiences a must Truck should not be older the 6 years Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada Strong understanding of road safety regulations, hours of service, and load securement Experience operating commercial vehicles in winter driving conditions Ability to accurately complete eLogs, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery documentation Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as required Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, safety-focused approach Role-Specific Requirements Class 1 Drivers Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class 1 driving experience Cross-Border Drivers Legally eligible to enter the United States with valid documentation 1 year of cross-border driving experience FAST Card required #WorkatCanadaCartage Why People Love Working at Canada Cartage Canada Cartage offers a supportive, team-oriented workplace built on collaboration and respect, with opportunities for career growth and development. Requirements
