Position Summary We are looking for a part time Class 3 driver with exceptional customer service to join our fleet. Location: Duncan, BC Schedule: Saturday only What you will do Local deliveries within Saanich and surrounding areas Conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition Straight Truck/Curtain side and flatbed Saturday day shift as well as opportunities for additional shifts Coordinate the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured Maintain contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport What You’ll Bring 6 months up to 1 year experience Basic reading, communication skills to follow direction Class 3 license with air brakes Moffett or Forklift certification is an asset Driver’s abstract issued within the last 30 days Positive team attitude Must be willing to complete a criminal record check Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Along with the following Skills & Competencies: Shipping Documentation DOT Regulations Loads/Secures /Unloads Cargo Maintain Travel Logs Transport Cargo Vehicle Safety Checks Vehicle Inspection Why People Love Working at Canada Cartage Canada Cartage offers a supportive, team-oriented workplace built on collaboration and respect, with opportunities for career growth and development.
