These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services. We are currently seeking a Commissionaire to join our growing team. WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Roving Patrol Guard operating a Motor Vehicle Conduct vehicle patrols through CFB Borden Garrison Verify doors and windows to client specified buildings Guard is expected to walk around buildings/hangars pulling door handles and verifying windows are closed Approximately 30 sites to be verified per shift with some sites having double, triple and quadruple checks Some buildings could take close to 10 minutes to walk around in prime conditions WE ARE EXCITED FOR YOU TO OFFER US: Ontario Secondary School Diploma *MUST* Ontario Security Guard License *MUST* Valid First Aid and CPR certificate *MUST* have a Full G class license and Clean Drivers Abstract *MUST* Have the ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance (resident in Canada 10 years or longer, clean record, clean credit history) Security Clearance Requirement: Reliable upgradeable to Secret Ability to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time Ability to complete frequent patrols Ability to speak/read/communicate in English (fluently), ability to speak French is consider an asset *MUST* be able to operate a two way radio *MUST* be able to obtain DND 404 Vehicle Operator License WHAT THE JOB OFFERS YOU: Job type: Part-time Hourly Rate of Pay: $27.93 per hour Positions: 2 Hours of work: Rotation 1 (Weekdays): Mon–Wed (Week 1) and Mon–Thurs (Week 2), 1800 to 0600hrs Rotation 2 (Weekends): Thurs–Sun (Week 1) and Fri–Sun (Week 2), 1800 to 0600hrs Full-time guards swap between weekday and weekend rotations every 4 to 5 weeks Shift start time / end times could move by one hour up or down Location: CFB Borden, Borden, Ontario WHAT WE OFFER YOU: Medical and Dental Employee assistance program Family Assistance program Coaching and counselling support WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR COMMSSIONAIRES: As a front-line representative of our company and client’s site you must be highly reliable, work well under pressure, able to work with minimal supervision, have the ability to multitask and be a professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times. Requirements

Candidates must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma, a valid Ontario Security Guard License, and a clean G class driver's abstract. Applicants must also be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and a DND 404 Vehicle Operator License.
