With a customer-first mindset, we make doing business with McCain easy. About The Role. McCain is seeking a Talent Specialist (12-Month Contract) to join our North America Talent team. Reporting to the Manager of North American Early Careers, this role will support shaping the future talent pipeline of McCain. From attracting top student and early-career talent, curating strong University partnerships, and creating an exceptional intern experience, you'll help bring our talent strategy to life. The Specialist is the foundation of our Early Careers team success. By providing outstanding operational support, fostering strong collaboration, and ensuring excellence in execution, you will help our team attract and hire top talent that drives McCain's continued growth. What You’ll Be Doing. Build and sustain positive and productive relationships with internal stakeholders, external career services, faculty members, alumni, student organizations, professional associations and diversity groups across North America Support the recruitment and selection process for interns, co-ops, and full-time rotational development programs. Help execute campus recruitment strategies, career fairs, networking events, and employer branding initiatives that build strong candidate pipelines. Coordinate candidate interviews, communications, and hiring activities to deliver an outstanding candidate experience. Partner with hiring managers, recruiters, and HR teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. Help design and deliver a best-in-class summer intern program that fosters learning, engagement, and professional growth. Support intern-to-full-time conversion efforts, helping high-potential talent launch long-term careers with McCain. Act as a strategic support for the total early careers function across North America (US and Canada), aligned to enterprise initiatives including ad hoc project needs What You’ll Need To Be Successful. 2+ years of experience in an administrative, coordination, recruiting, or customer-facing role; recruitment or talent program experience strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree required Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning new technology and systems. Excellent communication skills with a passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience. CAD annual base salary equivalency, paid in alignment to contract term The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
