Role Details Work Location – North York, ON Shift/Hours – Monday to Friday, Day Shift On-Site (Shift flexibility required) The full base salary range for this position is from $82,800.00 - $92,000.00 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity. Initial Posting Close Date – Agust 21, 2026 About This Opportunity As a Specialist, Reliability & Controls you will report into the Maintenance Manager and be based out of our North York facility, ON. Responsibilities Maintain Allen-Bradley hardware and software: PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, Networks and various electrical systems Maintains and troubleshoots controls for production equipment from various suppliers Identifies and prioritizes controls / electrical opportunities to maximize operations performance within a facility Develops and maintains electrical and controls system documentation Execute small and medium projects involving PLC 5, SLC 500, Controls Logix, Panel View Plus and Allen Bradley VFDs Maintain industrial networks such as DeviceNet and Remote I/O Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment from various suppliers Quickly identify root causes of problems, as mechanical, controls or joint problems and coordinate resources necessary to address them Develop control software to achieve the balance between mechanical and controls changes to effectively handle all containers Provide the proper training in Controls and Electricity to the Maintenance Technicians for the purpose of minimizing the production down time Plan and execute projects in a manner which minimizes downtime Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred• Previous leadership experience an asset• Minimum 4 years of working experience in industrial environments or minimum 8 years of work experience in industrial environments without a college degree• 10 years of work experience in industrial environments (preferred)• Proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and Networks (DeviceNet, ControlNet, Remote IO, Data Highway Plus, and Ethernet) (preferred)• Experience with various Human Machine Interfaces (preferred)• Previous experience in food and beverage environment is an asset Why work with us? The Specialist will maintain and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley controls, PLCs, and industrial networks to ensure optimal production equipment performance. They are also responsible for developing control software, providing technical training to maintenance technicians, and executing projects to minimize downtime.

Candidates should have a minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience in industrial environments, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Proficiency in Allen-Bradley hardware and software, including PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs, is essential for this role.
