Kinesiologist – Rehabilitation & Performance Location: Connect Physiotherapy & Exercise – Edmonton, AB Position: Part-Time or Full-Time Compensation: $20–$22/hour Connect Physiotherapy & Exercise is looking for a motivated Kinesiologist to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an opportunity to build your skills in a clinic where physiotherapy, active rehabilitation, and strength & conditioning work together under one roof. You’ll work alongside physiotherapists and strength & conditioning coaches, helping clients move from injury and rehabilitation toward greater strength, function, and performance. The role has a strong hands-on focus on assessment, exercise prescription, and coaching, with opportunities to work with everyone from active individuals returning from injury to competitive athletes pursuing performance goals. What You’ll Do Conduct movement, strength, and exercise-based assessments Design and deliver individualized rehabilitation and performance programs Coach clients in one-on-one and small-group settings Work alongside physiotherapists to progress clients through exercise-based rehabilitation Help clients transition from rehabilitation into return-to-sport and performance training Monitor client progress and adjust programming based on assessment findings, goals, and outcomes Contribute to the development of new rehabilitation, testing, and performance services Support day-to-day clinic operations and administrative responsibilities as required Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who enjoys coaching, understands exercise, and wants to continue developing their skills in rehabilitation and performance. You’ll be a great fit if you: Have a strong foundation in strength & conditioning and exercise prescription Are confident coaching and cueing movement in a gym-based environment Can use assessment findings to build logical, progressive exercise programs Take initiative and work effectively with minimal supervision Have excellent attention to detail Are motivated to learn, improve, and take on greater responsibility over time Communicate well and enjoy building relationships with clients Work well as part of a multidisciplinary team Are organized, dependable, and professional About Connect Physiotherapy & Exercise Founded in 2021, Connect Physiotherapy & Exercise is an Edmonton-based multidisciplinary clinic focused on helping people recover from injury, build physical capacity, and perform at a higher level. Our approach integrates physiotherapy, active rehabilitation, and strength & conditioning, creating a natural progression from injury recovery through to return to activity, sport, and long-term performance. Our clinic is built around an open, active gym environment where clinicians and coaches work collaboratively rather than in isolation. We work with a wide range of clients, including recreationally active individuals, developing athletes, and competitive athletes and teams. We’re continuing to grow our rehabilitation and performance services and are looking for someone who wants to grow with us. Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or an equivalent qualification is required; final-year students in an equivalent program are also encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a strong foundation or interest in strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, and athletic performance, with coaching, communication, initiative, and organizational skills; relevant professional certifications and current First Aid and CPR are assets or preferred.
