Class 1 Driver (Local Delivery) Location: Nanaimo Wage: $33.35/hour Schedule: Day shift (10 hour shifts) Pac Rim Distribution is hiring experienced Class 1 Drivers for local delivery work across on Vancouver Island. DESCRIBE DUTIES: As per job description, other preference includes: This is a fully local delivery position operating between the Cowichan Valley and Campbell River, typically involving multi-stop routes (approximately 8-15 stops per day). You’ll be responsible not just for driving, but for completing deliveries end-to-end—ensuring freight is handled safely, efficiently, and professionally at every stop. Your day will typically involve a mix of: * Palletized deliveries using proper unloading techniques * Hand-cart deliveries directly into customer locations * Regular interaction with customers at delivery points This is not a drop-and-go position—you’ll be bringing product into customer locations, not leaving it at the curb.
