DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Install and maintain hardware for the Wenco Fleet Management System (FMS) on mobile mining equipment. * Deploy and manage Rajant networking infrastructure. * Maintain onboard radios and trailer repeaters for the industrial network. * Efficiently manage parts inventory. * Prioritize and perform repairs related to radio systems. * Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and components on mobile mining equipment. * Handle AC voltage and wiring, including minor repair of generators for high-voltage lighting and heavy equipment heater systems. * Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION * Red Seal Certification (Electrician) * A minimum of 4-5 years of related industrial experience, specifically in a maintenance capacity within a mining or similar heavy industrial environment. * Familiarity with Wenco Fleet Management System (FMS) or similar dispatch system hardware and software. * Experience troubleshooting and repairing radio hardware. * Completion of Grade 12 * Valid Driver’s License TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & SKILLS * Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts; on a 7x7 rotation. * Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision. * Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, especially with dispatch personnel, equipment operators, and the IT Department. * Physical fitness to perform labor-intensive tasks, including working at heights and in tight areas. * Proficient in network troubleshooting and repair. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize projects and tasks effectively. * Good English communication skills both oral and written. * Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions. * Proven safety and attendance record. * Knowledge of computer maintenance systems.
