What You’ll Be Doing Duties and Responsibilities: Inspect, service and maintain a diverse fleet of construction equipment including earth-moving, compact and aerial equipment both in the shop and on customer jobsites. Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make required repairs, testing repaired equipment for proper performance. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of inspections, maintenance and work orders. Contribute to a professional and safe work environment by keeping the shop and yard clean, and following all company policies and procedures, and safety requirements. Qualifications And Requirements What You’ll Bring to the Team Red Seal / Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician License (421A or 310T) or minimum 3rd year apprentice is required. Experience working on a variety of construction equipment. Valid Class 5/G driver’s license with clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You will be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request. Must have own tools. Available and willing to work over-time as needed. Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools. Expertise in diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Demonstrated commitment to safety, with a strong focus on following procedures and promoting a safe work environment. Eagerness to continuously learn and stay up to date with emerging technology Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
