Ensure propane is secure per company procedure and inspect in transit if necessary. Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records. Secure customer signature on contract, if not already signed. Inform supervisor of difficulties with deliveries or pickups. Inform management of new sales opportunities and job sites Double-check deliveries to make sure customers receive exactly what they ordered. Communicate with dispatch if behind schedule, so customers may be notified Perform daily preventative maintenance inspections and safety checks to proactively identify and advise of any mechanical issues. Keep the truck in clean and professional condition at all times. Complete daily accurate pre-inspections and post-inspections regulatory logs and timesheets, as well as checking gas, oil and other fluid levels. What You’ll Bring to the Team Qualifications and Requirements: Valid Class 3 or 5 driver's license with air endorsement and a clean or satisfactory drive's abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You will be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request. Previous LPG/propane experience is considered an asset. Prior commercial driving experience is required. Comfortable with working outdoors year-round and driving in varying weather / road conditions. Comfortable with city driving. Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs. Highly safety-focused and professional; take pride in your vehicle and your responsibility as a driver. Available and willing to work overtime when required, particularly during peak seasonal demand (winter months). Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment. Excellent problem-solving and organization skills. Strong team-player with effective communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and colleagues. Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as with a team. Ability to identify and describe mechanical issues on the truck/trailer.
