Job summary
Cosmic is looking for a talented Junior or Intermediate Digital Motion Designer to join our team. If you love bringing static layouts to life and want to work in a collaborative, fast-paced creative environment, with a team that’s constantly reaching for the stars, you’ll fit right into our orbit! As a Motion Designer at Cosmic, you will collaborate with our talented team of creatives on a diverse universe of projects. We touch almost every corner of advertising and creative services, including corporate branding, social media campaigns, email marketing, web/mobile development, traditional print media, videography, and even game/app development. Qualifications: Education: Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, or a related field. Experience: 2+ years of professional agency or studio experience (working across both print and digital mediums). Must be located a commutable Distance from Toronto Solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Animate. Bonus Points: Basic HTML coding skills for emails, app messages, and splash pages are a major plus! Core Skills: Strong layout and typography skills with an intuitive understanding of weight, timing, and movement. The ability to easily adopt the voice, personality, and design standards of multiple diverse brands. A quick learner who can make confident design decisions and pivot fast under tight deadlines. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a highly collaborative attitude. Key Responsibilities: Create high-quality, engaging motion graphics and animations for videos and social media platforms. Craft visual assets, layouts, and illustrations specifically tailored for motion design, social media, online advertising, and email campaigns. Partner closely with the creative team to seamlessly integrate motion graphics into upcoming projects and campaigns. A Master and maintain strict adherence to client brand standards and guidelines. Manage your workflow efficiently to meet established project timelines and tight deadlines.
