About the Company We’re building a next-generation AI system in the mental health space that bridges the gap between clinical care and scalable digital support. About the Role You’ll work directly with our CTO (architecture) and CEO/clinical founder (product), alongside a Principal AI Engineer who owns the intelligence layer. You own everything else: the full application stack, the infrastructure it runs on, and the API surface that connects the product to our AI system. We move fast with AI-assisted development and have meaningful code already in place — you’re picking up a real codebase and pushing it forward, not starting from zero. Responsibilities End-to-end application build from architecture through private pilot Frontend and backend for a clinician-facing and client-facing web application API layer that connects to the AI orchestration system Database design, schema management, and migrations (PostgreSQL/Supabase) Auth, security, RLS implementation, and compliance infrastructure Deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure (Vercel and beyond) Collaboration with the founder on product design and iteration Qualifications 4+ years of professional experience. You’ve built a production web application from scratch (0→1). Strong React + PostgreSQL — can ship fast and own both frontend and backend. Experience with healthcare data and regulated infrastructure is a hard requirement — you understand what PHI means in practice, not just in theory. Agentic coding fluency is a hard requirement: you use Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent as your primary development environment. Ideally you’ve shipped production code this way; strong demonstrated fluency will be considered. Startup experience preferred: comfortable with ambiguity, owns problems end-to-end, ships over specs. You will be responsible for the end-to-end application build, including both frontend and backend development for a clinician-facing and client-facing web application. This includes managing the API layer, database design, and deployment pipelines.

Candidates should have 4+ years of professional experience and must have built a production web application from scratch. Strong skills in React and PostgreSQL are required, along with experience in healthcare data and coding fluency using AI-assisted development tools.
