We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Labourer to join our team in Port Alberni, BC. This hands-on full-time position will support a variety of maintenance, construction, and outdoor projects across company properties. WHAT YOU’LL DO: * Assist with general maintenance, construction, and outdoor projects. * Clean equipment, facilities, company property, and other assigned work areas. * Pick up and deliver parts, materials, equipment, and other items as required. * Organize project areas, tools, equipment, and materials to support safe and efficient work. * Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and motorized equipment within your level of training and authorization. * Maintain clean and orderly work areas to help prevent accidents and injuries. * Follow company policies and safety procedures and promptly report hazards, incidents, or concerns. * Perform other related duties as assigned. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: * A valid driver’s licence. * The ability to safely lift and carry at least 30 lbs. * The physical ability to stand, walk, carry materials, bend, and climb stairs throughout the workday. * Familiarity with the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and motorized equipment. * The ability to stay organized and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision. * A positive attitude and willingness to learn. * The ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team. * Forklift experience or certification is considered an asset.
