Description: Description: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, collaborating on the delivery of holistic, comprehensive care and support to patients/residents and families. The LPN must be able to team lead effectively on their own. Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA). Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required. Additional Required Qualifications: One year recent Acute Stroke or Medicine experience. Preferred Qualifications: TORBSST certification.

The LPN works within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic and comprehensive care to patients and their families. They are responsible for team leading and delivering safe, quality care according to established standards and policies.

Candidates must be graduates of a Practical Nursing program with active registration with the CLHA and BLS Healthcare Provider certification. One year of recent experience in Acute Stroke or Medicine is required.
