Description: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, collaborating in the delivery of holistic care and support to patients/residents and families. The LPN practices to full scope, applying professional nursing knowledge, clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills to support safe care and positive health outcomes. Candidates must be graduates of a Practical Nursing program with active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) certification is also required.
