Your Opportunity: Join our dynamic Diagnostic Imaging team in a part-time General Radiography Technologist position within a busy hospital environment. This position allows opportunity to work in different areas that Xray services, including the OR, fluoroscopy, main dept. and ED. Description: Description: The Medical Radiation Technologist I (MRT) performs all routine radiographic/fluoroscopic, computed tomography and interventional procedures. The MRT I also produces radiographs of high diagnostic quality in an efficient and safe manner while attending to the diagnostic and care needs of patients undergoing diagnostic/therapeutic procedures. The MRT I is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement. Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) required. BLS (Level C - Health Care Provider) required. Additional Required Qualifications: Motivated and willing to learn. Must be reliable and able to adapt to shift work. Critical thinking skills, team mentality as well as confidence to work independently. Able to be physically active without restrictions. Preferred Qualifications: recent hospital experience.

Requirements

Graduation from a radiological technology program or recognized equivalent, active registration with ACMDTT, and BLS Level C (Health Care Provider) certification are required. Candidates should be motivated, reliable, adaptable to shift work, physically able to perform the role, and capable of critical thinking, teamwork, and independent work; recent hospital experience is preferred.
