Your Opportunity: Join our team in this opportunity to develop your skills and experience in an Acute care hospital. Our Ortho OR rotation allows exposure to many cases that require expertise using C arm imaging. You will rotate through all areas we service with Xray, Fluoroscopy, ED and some CT. This position currently is 2 weekday shifts and every other weekend evenings equating to a 0.40 FTE with option to pick up shifts that are needed. You will receive benefits with this position. Description: Description: The Medical Radiation Technologist I (MRT) performs all routine radiographic/fluoroscopic, computed tomography and interventional procedures. The MRT I also produces radiographs of high diagnostic quality in an efficient and safe manner while attending to the diagnostic and care needs of patients undergoing diagnostic/therapeutic procedures. The MRT I is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement. Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) required. BLS (Level C - Health Care Provider) required. Additional Required Qualifications: Energetic, positive and reliable. Ability to use critical thinking and can adapt to a busy environment with heavy patient load. Work alone and with a team. Preferred Qualifications: 1-year recent experience in an Acute care hospital setting.

Requirements
